The Lexington Court apartment complex comprises nine buildings situated between East 118th Street and East 122nd Street within the East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. Lingineering provided the preparation of the project manual to delineate the scope of work and project specifications, submission to the NYC Department of Buildings including special inspections, and coordination of asbestos testing.

Lingineering collaborated with the owner, serving as the engineer and architect consultant, to conduct the façade assessment of the property, implement the design, complete necessary filings, and provide construction administration services to ensure quality control of the remedial work.

The scope of work encompassed parapet wall reconstruction, roofing membrane remediation, coating removal, selective replacement of brickwork, chimney rebuilding and repointing, concrete patching, refurbishment of lintels and sills, stonework repair, and structural calculations addressing various concealed conditions requiring immediate attention upon discovery.
